(Change in writer)The haircut was a success; although, at $2.50 it better be. I mean, what is this Scott Miller? At $2.50 it would be nice to get it cut every week. Victor picked me up at 4:30 sharp and we had 4 bible studies. Victor had worked all day and the third study was a review of Daniel 4 and the “tree dream”. For being so tired he did a nice review. Then it was off to study with Israel. He is making good progress and is in the last chapter of the Teach book. He attends all meetings and cleans the Kingdom Hall after every meeting. In another part of the house Leah and Diana were helping Maria Ester prepare a later dinner for all of us. We ate at about 9:30-Rice with Chorizo, potatoes in a cream sauce, hot tea and jugo de guanábana. That is a weird fruit. It is really slimy and really sweet and delicious. You peel out little sections that look like squid and then pop out the black seed. She made juice from it. We all ate together and had a really good time, but we were beat. Out like a lion.
By the time we got home it was 10:30 pm and we went straight to bed. A pound of rice in the belly makes it easy to sleep.
I got my hair cut for RMB 30, which is about USD $4.75, which included a massage, which I tried to refuse but they kept telling me it's all together. Can't beat $2.50 though!
