Day 89-So long Ecuador…See ya’ soon????

Well, 3:30am came fast and it was time to head to the airport. Our first bag was overweight and they wanted to charge us $140 extra. We went to buy another bag for $15 and transferred stuff. Problem solved. (Incidentally, if anyone is ever traveling to/from Ecuador through Guayaquil, let us know and we can pass on the info for staying overnight and a ride to the airport. There is a witness family that does it all, and very inexpensively).

The flight was on Copa Airlines (our new favorite). Everyone gets meals and the food is quite good. Not good enough for pictures, but good. We arrived in Mexico City via Panama City at about 1:15pm and Elsa, Jose Luis and Ian were waiting for us. We got to the house around 2:30. They had prepared a feast of Lasagna, pasta carbonara and…get real! We’ve been dying for Mexican food and we had it in abundance. Tacos de pavo (turkey) and a salsa roja de cactus and chipotle. The food has been excellent. Elsa is doing very well in her spiritual progress and is conducting many bible studies. It will be a joy spending the next week or so with her and her family.
